With the possibility of inclement weather over the weekend, this reminder is to make you aware of the different ways we send out notifications in the event of a school closure. These messages will be sent through text, voice call, and the Centerpoint School District Facebook when a decision has been made by the district. Also, remember AMI days are no longer allowed for the district and any days missed will be made up on the inclement weather days as noted on the adopted district calendar.
Don't forget to set your clocks back!
Update: Power was restored last night and activities across the district are as normally scheduled.
Due to a power outage affecting areas across the district, we will continue to communicate with Entergy and monitor the situation throughout the night. Updates will be provided tomorrow morning as more information becomes available.
