Message from the Principal:

Welcome to the 2023-2024 school year!

It is with great excitement that I welcome you to Centerpoint Elementary School where our main focus is to support the positive growth of each and every student and staff member. I, along with the teachers and staff, will work hard to uphold our mission to “do whatever it takes for every child, every day to achieve a better future.”

Here at CES, we live by the Learning by Doing philosophy in order to become a stronger professional learning community. In other words, we are committed to reflecting on the work being done by students and staff, and searching for ways to improve. IgKnight Time is one of the many ways we are working towards improvement. The purpose of IgKnight Time is to provide students with additional time and support to focus on skills they need to learn at high levels. During this 30 minute block , teachers/staff provide students with targeted instruction designed to meet his/her individual learning needs.

It is important to me, as the principal, that everyone who enters our building - students, parents, teachers and community members- feel welcomed, safe and excited to be here! I want all students to experience success and have a purposeful connection to our faculty and staff. Please feel free to contact the school to inquire about your student’s progress as well as about resources we may have to help you and/or your student.
