Welcome to the 2025–2026 School Year!

It is with great enthusiasm that I welcome you to Centerpoint Elementary School! At CES, our mission is simple but powerful: “Do whatever it takes for every child, every day, to achieve a better future.” Together with our dedicated staff, I’m committed to supporting the academic, social, and emotional growth of every student.

At Centerpoint, we embrace the Learning by Doing philosophy, which guides us as a professional learning community. This means we continuously reflect on our practices and seek opportunities to improve instruction and learning outcomes. One way we live out this commitment is through IgKnight Time—a 30-minute daily block where students receive targeted support tailored to their individual learning needs. Whether they need extra help or an added challenge, our goal is to ensure all students reach high levels of success.

As principal, it’s incredibly important to me that everyone who enters our building—students, families, staff, and community members—feels welcomed, safe, and valued. I believe every child deserves to thrive in an environment where they are connected, supported, and inspired.
